Gold and silver test kit

I got this renewed interest in buying some gold and silver. Anyone knows of a good test kit? Hoping to get something at a reasonable price but really has that trusted reputation for verifying metals. I'd appreciate getting leads!

The JSP acid test kits are pretty reliable even though they're just super affordable. But if you want something cleaner, you could try a Sigma Metalytics tester. A little pricier though.

I agree with @Ag. with the acid test kits!
JSP is a popular choice but you can also explore PuriTEST and GTE.
They have comprehensive sets with acids for different gold karats and silver.
They should be available in Amazon, eBay or some jewelry supply sites!

@collector_tom you got some good recomendations and I'll enrich the list with the Auracle AGT1 or AGT3 which are about $200 to $300 which is prety reasonable. If you're willing to pay more the Sigma Metalytics Precious Metal Verifier is an excellent choice, if you think it's worth it for you
