recent silver/dollar trade rate

well, i'm certainly surprised to see nothing new on this forum lately. especially considering how high the silver/dollar trade ratio has climbed. $50/oz is quickly settling in as the new normal. i'm glad i didn't wait until now to begin transferring my wealth into precious metals. i would have lost over half of my buying power, if i hadn't. how much lower is the dollar going to go? are we looking at the pre-WWI deutche mark? people getting paid with wheel-barrow loads of cash and still unable to buy a loaf of bread?

It’s definitely been a wild run, but I’d pump the brakes a bit on the wheelbarrow money comparisons. A lot of what we’re seeing feels like inflation fears plus speculation feeding each other. Curious what signals you’re watching that make you think it keeps sliding from here.
