I'm new to stacking and fell for a deal that was a little too surreal... 25 one-ounce silver bars from what looked like a legit website with some reviews. I thought it was gonna ship from America since the interface is very American and it's all english, using our measurements, shows my zip code. When I placed my order, I just noticed it ships from China. They just arrived, and yep… totally fake. Weight checks out, no magnet reaction... Bottomline is they're silver-plated brass. Everyone who's just getting started, please... Be wary.

Yeah, that sucks. Fake silver bars that look real but come from China are a classic scam, especially if youre new to stacking. They might weigh just about right and not be magnetic, but they're just silver-plated brass. Always check seller reviews carefully and be skeptical of deals that feel too good to be true. the largest type of fake silver coming from those chinese scumbags are Morgan Silver dollars. Hopefully you got your money back from ebay or your credit card company
