Silver Coins or Silver Rounds VS Silver Bars

I am new to silver investing, and I am trying to learn as much as I can. I have been big on buying 1 oz Bars. However, I am reading that the Silver bars may not have the same value as Silver Coins or Rounds.
I also read that Silver Coins have more value than Bars and Silver Rounds. Im confused about what I should be buying. I want something that will have value if I ever need to sell.

Is buying, say, a Silver Coin that has value better than buying a Silver Round or Bar? Not sure what to buy any advice will be very much appreciated.

Coins cost a bit more but hold their premium when selling usually, Coins are the most easily recognizable over generic bars and rounds that loose their premiums when selling. buy the coin of the realm, in USA it is American Silver Eagles, 90% silver dimes, quarters, halfs and silver dollars. see my reply regarding silver in this thread: New member drawn by a golden question to a silver forum
