I'm new to all of these so bear with me. a friend is offering what he said is a Pccb Sovereign. how do I determine if this is legit? do we have like guidelines for this?
I wouldnt buy it unless youre completely sure you can get your money back if it's not real.PCCB isn't a legit grading company, its just a chinese made coin holder. Most coins in those cases are fake. There are tons of fake sovereigns out there and the holder just makes them look more convincing and harder to question.

Check the weight, size and details to match official specs. It shouldnt stick to a magnet, and the sound test can help too,, real gold rings differently. When in doubt, take it to a trusted dealer or get it appraised.
