So I was just lurking on the net and saw an article about recovering gold from electronics, sounds pretty cool. But just wondering f it becomes popular, could it impact gold prices? Is there enough discarded gold out there to affect supply? Curious to hear your thoughts!

Recovering gold from electronics is neat, but the amount is tiny compared to global gold supply and even if popular, it won't really move gold prices much, just a small boost in recycling

So, for a big price impact, recovery would need to be massive. How do you see this playing out longterm?

Recovering gold from electronics is actually becoming more sophisticated but it's still unlikely to significantly impact global gold prices in the near future.
I think most discussions around e-waste gold recovery focuses more on its environmental benefits and potential for resource sustainability, rather than another source that could disrupt the market.

such a small part of whole situation. never have affect on price of paper metals. when the comex and the fraudster bankers stop manipulating the paper market and we ever get a total disconnect from them on real value the price of metals will rocket upwards
